How has this person changed your life?:
Kimberly has changed many lives throughout her 18 plus yrs. of teaching. I have had the pleasure of working with Kimberly for 6 yrs. and each year she never seems to amaze me. It’s already a hard task to get kids to read, but imagine trying to motivate kids who have never been successful at a reading STAAR test, lack the motivation to read and to top things off English is not their first language. Although, many days in our classroom is stressful, due to lack of homework, lack of reading or lack of trying, Kimberly on no occasion gave up on ANY student. For the past 3 yrs. Kimberly’s reading class has battled other reading classes and each year either her 5th or 6th grade class wins! To see the student’s faces after a victory is priceless. It all stemmed from Kimberly not giving up and pushing them to a level they thought they would never achieve. It truly motivates me to see all the long countless hours and unselfishness that goes into planning and preparing students who most have given up on. Kimberly is more than a shining star, she’s and entire galaxy!
